Guwahati: An important meeting on “Advantage Assam 2.0,”under the Chairmanship of Minister for Industries, Commerce and Public Enterprise department, Assam Bimal Borah today at Loksewa Bhawan, Dispur.
The highly ambitious ‘Advantage Assam 2.0’ is scheduled for February 24th and 25th, 2025, and Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi is likely to be present. The meeting was to review the progress of preparations for the Advantage Assam 2.0. The discussions covered operational logistics, hospitality requirements, partnership engagements, and strategies to promote the event, including organizing roadshows across target regions.*
The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary of Assam Dr. Ravi Kota, Special Director General of Assam Police Harmit Singh senior officials from the Department of IC&PE and its corporations, district administrations officials, officers from various departments of the* *Government of Assam, and representatives from leading financial and business organizations.
