Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to visit a religious ashram in the state for the second time within 50 days.
Modi visited Bageshwar Dham in Chhatarpur on February 23, and now, he is coming to Anandpur Dham in Ashok Nagar on Friday.
The Anandpur Dham set up in 1930 has hogged the limelight for some public welfare work it is doing. This is the reason that the prime minister is visiting the place.
Before Modi, head of the RSS, Mohan Bhagwat, visited Anandpur in 2020.
According to sources, the RSS has played an important role in Modi’s visit to Anandpur Dham.
Many people of Punjabi and Sindhi communities are followers of Anandpur Dham.
Anandpur Trust has properties in Bhopal and other cities across the country. There are reports that the trust has bought most of the properties.
In the Isagarh area of Ashok Nagar district, the Ashram owns 4,000 acres where people do farming.
The trust also runs a hospital, a school, a printing press and a cowshed. The Ashram is self-sufficient in electricity, irrigation, drinking water and other things of daily needs.
Paramhans Dayal Maharaj established Paramhans Adwait Mat. Afterwards, Paramhans Sad Gurudev Maharaj founded Anandpur Ashram. At present, Maharaj Sad Gurudev Datadayal is the head of the Ashram.
There are 4,000 permanent residents in the Ashram, and those who come here enjoy Satsang.
There are lakhs of followers of Anandpur Dham across the country. Lakhs of people gather at Anandpur Dham in Ashok Nagar once a year.
According to BJP leader and former MP KP Yadav, Anandpur Dham serves people.
Many people get treatment in the hospital. Yadav said the management of the Ashram had invited the Prime Minister last year, but, because of the election, he was unable to go there.
Now, he is coming to the place, Yadav said.
Entry only with Aadhar cards
The Ashram management has announced that there will be no entry in the Ashram without Aadhar cards on April 11 because of the Prime Minister’s visit.
Along with this, those who carry online passes will get entry the Ashram on that day.
