Ashoknagar, 16 November (Hindustan Reporter). Engineers working in the country and abroad participated in the alumni conference of Polytechnic College and shared their memories related to the college. On Saturday, 300 engineers, who have brought glory to the college by hoisting the flag in various fields, participated in the function org.zed in the garden near the Polytechnic College here and shared their experiences.
Students from the initial batch of the college and the present students of the college participated in the conference and made the program a success. The students, who met each other after years, started jumping with joy after meeting each other. In this meeting, the fragrance of closeness as well as friendship was present in the entire atmosphere.
Chief guest of the inaugural session, Madhya Pradesh Technical Education Board Department Head Virendra Kumar said that whatever is required for the Polytechnic College, please send me the proposal and immediate action will be taken on it. In the first session of the ceremony, the guests were welcomed by presenting mementos and paintings of Pankaj Dixit. The special guests in the inaugural session were Jal Nigam Chief Engineer Pramod Raghuvanshi and Delhi Metro Chief Engineer Praval Raghuvanshi. This session was presided over by Shyam Singh Raghuvanshi, a senior engineer and a graduate of the first batch (1967) of Polytechnic Ashoknagar.
Theater actor Pramendra Sharma, son of late Gaya Prasad Sharma also expressed his views in the program. DN Neekhra, Vinay Jain, Sarita Jain and Mrigendra Singh also expressed their views in the session. The session was conducted by Rakesh Sharma. SK Rajoria gave the welcome address at the beginning of the session.
After visiting the college in the second session, the engineers refreshed their memories and said that we spent important and memorable years of our lives in this college. During the introduction session, it was revealed that the students coming out of this college have achieved success not only in the field of engineering but also in various fields. From the field of education to literature, art and industry, the college is making a name for itself. A cultural program was org.zed in the evening in which alumni gave vigorous presentations.
The third session was the introduction session in which retired Chief Engineer of Delhi Municipal Corporation Rajesh Taneja and Superintending Engineer Atul Chaturvedi were the chief guests. In this session all the colleagues introduced themselves and were presented mementos. This session was presided over by senior engineer Bhale Rao. The session was conducted by Abhay Jain. The last session was a cultural session which focused on singing, which was conducted and coordinated by Rakesh Chaubey and Rajesh Sharma. Unprecedented enthusiasm was seen among the alumni during the program.
