The Indian army carried out an air strike on Pakistan on the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday. Nine terrorist hideouts were targeted in this strike. The operation was named ‘Operation Sindoor.’ All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) national president Asaduddin Owaisi has shared a video on his officail X handle. In the video Owaisi can be seen standing on a stage wearing a tricolor turban and can be heard raising slogans of “Pakistan Murdabad and Bharat Zindabad.”

After the Pahalgam attack, Asaduddin Owaisi has been continuously vocal against Pakistan. Just days after the terror attack, Owaisi launched a fierce attack on Pakistan. Speaking at a public meeting in Parbhani, Maharashtra, , Owaisi condemned Pakistan’s role, likening the attack to the barbarity displayed by terror groups like ISIS.

Owaisi criticised Pakistan for boasting about its nuclear capabilities while engaging in acts of terror against innocent civilians. He questioned the morality behind such attacks, stating that targeting people based on their religion and killing them on Indian soil was akin to the actions of extremist outfits.

The Indian armed forces carried out missile strikes in wee hours of Wednesday on nine terror targets in Pakistan and PoK, including the Jaish-e-Mohammad stronghold of Bahawalpur and Lashkar-e-Taiba’s base Muridke.

The missile strikes were carried out in retaliation, two weeks after the Pahalgam terror attack in which 26 tourists were killed.
