Jaipur: The teacher who ran away with a 17-year-old student was arrested by the police on Thursday. In this incident, along with the kidnapping of the girl student, an FIR has been registered against her under the POCSO Act.
The police produced the teacher before a local court, which sent her to judicial custody for 15 days. The student whom the teacher took with him, He was handed over to the Child Welfare Committee as per law. The incident took place in Sridungagada near Bikaner, Rajasthan.
On June 30, the teacher went missing along with the student. The age of the teacher is 21 years. Due to this incident, there is concern among the family members of the minor girl. The minor’s parents have alleged that there is an element of love jihad in their daughter’s case. The local people have also expressed anger over this incident.
Love Jihad was suspected to be behind the abduction of the student and the local people org.zed a massive agitation demanding immediate arrest of the teacher. On the other hand, the relatives of the teacher accompanying the student also complained to the police about her disappearance.
After both of them left the city, the situation in Bikaner became critical. He had released the video after realizing that the girl student’s disappearance had taken a religious colour. In the video, the student said that she and the teacher were in a homosexual relationship and that she had fallen in love with the teacher.
