Rizwan Ansari, a notorious arms supplier linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, was recently released from Tihar Jail, only to be re-arrested the very next day in a dramatic turn of events.
Following his release, Ansari was greeted by a festive celebration at his home in Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandshahr. As per reports, fireworks, drumming, and even a procession were organised by his supporters and family, that drew significant attention from local authorities.
The celebrations, which included firecrackers and music, quickly went viral on social media, sparking concern within the local police force.

Ansari, who had previously been arrested for supplying weapons to the infamous Bishnoi gang, was welcomed home like a hero by the local community. His son, Adnan Ansari, was behind organising the extravagant welcome.
However, the festive atmosphere turned to tension when Bulandshahr police acted swiftly after the video of the celebrations surfaced. Officers arrived at the scene and arrested Rizwan and his son, Adnan, on charges related to illegal arms trafficking.
Following their arrest, a police search led to the recovery of 9 firearms, including 7 pistols and 2 revolvers, which were found in their possession. The police also discovered a car with cartridges.
Ansari is known for his role in supplying weapons to the Bishnoi gang, a group implicated in the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. Investigations revealed that Ansari had provided modern weapons to the gang’s sharp shooters. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) had raided his residence multiple times following the high-profile murder.
