Sriti Jha and Arjit Taneja’s Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye will be going off air. Despite having a huge fan base, the show struggled to strike a chord with the broader audience, ultimately leading to its abrupt end. On Thursday, a journalist claimed that Sriti was still stuck in her role as Pragya from the hit television serial Kumkum Bhagya. This remark didn’t sit well with Arjit, who is also Sriti’s close friend, and he slammed the journalist on social media.
Taking to his X, Arijit wrote, “”Can’t jettison the Pragya tag?”” She created that legacy. You, on the other hand, are struggling to make your tweet relevant. You’re not a journalist but just a troll. She’s made Pragya iconic and everything she’s done post. Stop tweeting hate at everyone. Do better.”

On Thursday, Arjit shared a video with an emotional note as the show completed 500 episodes; he also bid farewell to the show. The actor wrote, “500 episodes of Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye… and what a journey it’s been. One of the most special chapters of my life that has helped me grow—not just as an actor, but as a person. Virat Singh Ahuja will always be one of the highlights of my career and will always hold a very special place in my heart.
He added, “Grateful to be part of a team that feels like family now .. something that doesn’t happen easily , and definitely not with every show. Every moment and scene on this set has been special. Thankful for all the love we have received along the way.”
“And on that note… with a heavy heart, I also want to share that we’ll soon be drawing the curtains on this beautiful journey. Like all good things, this too is coming to an end. ( wish it hadn’t) But for now let’s celebrate this milestone. 500 episodes of love, hard work, and memories I’ll always carry with me,” concluded the actor.
