Dehradun, 30 September (HS). The state government is continuously making efforts towards improving health services in Haridwar district. 100 medical seats have been allotted for the medical college. Chief Minister Dhami has expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Modi and Union Health Minister JP Nadda for this.
The state government is determined to develop health facilities in Uttarakhand. After establishment of Government Medical College in Dehradun, Srinagar, Haldw., now Medical College is going to be operated in Haridwar also. Actually, despite being a plain district, Haridwar was lacking. In such a situation, with the special efforts of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, the construction work of a medical college started in Haridwar.
Health Secretary Dr. R. Due to the special efforts of Rajesh Kumar, its building was completed in a short time. Last month, the NMC team inspected Haridwar Medical College in which some shortcomings were pointed out, which were later rectified. Now it is being told that 100 MBBS seats have been approved for Haridwar Medical College in the initial phase.
Lakhs of population of Haridwar will get benefits:
The construction of this college will benefit lakhs of population of Haridwar district. Actually, the population of this district had to depend on Rishikesh AIIMS and various hospitals of Dehradun for health services, but with the construction of the medical college, the people here will get a lot of relief in the coming days.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that our government is continuously working to improve the health services of the state. We want to make medical services accessible in the hill districts as well as the plain districts. The construction of Haridwar Medical College has been completed rapidly. Certainly, people will benefit greatly from the opening of this hospital in the future. They will be able to get medical services while staying there.
