Apple is reportedly working on a lamp-like robot named ELEGNT. The robot by Apple is a charming lamp. The rumoured product seemed to have drawn inspiration from Pixar’s renowned Luxo. The lamp can show a range of human-like expressions. This can also engage in various tasks simultaneously rather than focusing solely on functionality. For example, the robot displays human-like gestures. The robot can also react as it interacts with Apple researchers.

Expressive robots can also engage users more dynamically. This means it can incorporate gesture-based emotions into their actions. In one clip from the video, a function-driven robot was shown playing music while remaining stationary. But the robot also showcased expressive version. The robot moved its limb playfully to convey a sense of emotion.
