Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan on Friday expressed strong support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, praising the Prime Minister’s commitment to securing justice for the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack.
Speaking at a public event attended by PM Modi and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, Kalyan called the Pahalgam attack “the darkest day for the entire nation.”
“Blood was spilled in Kashmir, sending shockwaves across the country. I have seen and felt the pain of the victims,” Kalyan told the gathering.
The Deputy Chief Minister’s remarks came during PM Modi’s visit to Andhra Pradesh, where he inaugurated and laid foundation stones for development projects worth approximately ₹58,000 crore.
Earlier in the day, Pawan Kalyan, along with Governor Abdul Nazeer and CM Chandrababu Naidu, welcomed PM Modi at the Amaravati helipad.
Hours before PM’s arrival here for re-launching Amaravati capital works, Naidu in a social media post stated, “Today is a proud and important day for the people of Andhra Pradesh. I warmly welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji to Amaravati as he arrives to restart the development of our people’s capital,” he posted. “Amaravati stands as a ‘symbol of our shared hopes and dreams. This restart marks a new chapter of growth for our state,” he added.
