Mumbai – The Department of Culture of the State Government has announced awards for the film and music sector this year. These include actors Mahesh Manjrekar, Anupam Khair, actress Kajol Devgan, Mukta Barve and Ghazal singer Bhimrao Panchale.
This year director V. Shantaram Lifetime Achievement Award will be given to actor, director and producer Mahesh Manjrekar. The prize is 5000 rupees. As a prize, Rs 10 lakh cash, souvenirs, certificates and silver medals will be provided.
When director V. Shantaram Special Contribution Award will be given to actress Mukta Barve.
The prestigious personality of Hindi cinema Senior actor Anupam Kher will be awarded the Raj Kapoor Lifetime Achievement Award. Actress Kajol Devgan will be awarded the Raj Kapoor Special Contribution Award.
In the field of music, the prestigious Lata Mangeshkar Award has been announced to be given to Marathi Ghazal singer Bhimrao Panchale. The prize distribution will be done on the next date. Will be held on 25 April.
