Delhi Metro often makes headlines for its infamous fights between passengers. Recently, another chaotic video from the public transport service has gone viral on social media. It shows a violent altercation between two men that escalated to the point of tearing each other’s clothes.

The video focuses on a man whose shirt got completely pulled off. It further records the two youths arguing with each other after an off-camera physical fight.

One of the men’s shirts is completely torn during the ugly brawl, but he doesn’t let the argument conclude. The footage records him screaming, “Come on, come on, let’s fight”, challenging his fellow passenger and infuriating him further.

Amidst the chaos, a woman on the metro coach steps in to intervene, reportedly trying to calm one of the men but no avail. Other passengers simply tune into the fight as a free source of entertainment during their travel.

It is unclear what settles down the fight. At the end of the video, the two men are seen distancing themselves and staying calm.

At that point, the man whose shirt had been torn is seen adjusting his clothing, putting on his cap, and appearing to settle down.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has yet not issued a statement regarding the incident, and the cause of the altercation remains unclear.

However, this is not the first time a ruckus occurred inside the Delhi Metro. Passengers have broken into fights for various reasons, from seating issues to ill remarks about each other.
