Actor Anil Kapoor’s mother, Nirmal Kapoor, passed away at the age of 90 on Friday (May 2) in Mumbai. She breathed her last at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. Her funeral will take place on Saturday around 11:30 am at a crematorium in Vile Parle.
Several heartbreaking photos of the Kapoor family members, including Anil, Arjun Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Maheep Kapoor, Boney Kapoor, Jahaan Kapoor arriving to pay their last respects to Nirmal Kapoor have surfaced on social media.
Her mortal remains were brought to the crematorium in an ambulance adorned with flowers and garlands.
On Friday evening, besides the Kapoor family members, several celebrities like Ananya Panday, Javed Akhtar, Rani Mukerji, Anupam Kher, Jackie Shroff, Shikhar Pahariya, Raveena Tandon, Rasha Thadani, Suhana Khan, and Veer Pahariya, visited Anil’s residence to offer condolences.
Nirmal was the wife of the late film producer Surinder Kapoor and mother to four children — Boney, Anil, Sanjay, and Reena Kapoor Marwah.
