Gujarat Titans beat Sunrisers Hyderabad in their latest IPL 2025 match

Gujarat Titans secured a convincing 7-wicket victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad on April 6. The Titans chased down SRH’s total of 152/8 with ease, scoring 153/3 in just 16.4 overs.

Sunrisers Hyderabad’s batting lineup faltered, with Mohammed Siraj and Prasidh Krishna being the notable wicket-takers for Gujarat Titans. Siraj claimed a four-wicket haul, finishing with figures of 4-17, while Krishna and spinner Sai Kishore chipped in with two wickets each. SRH’s top-order, including Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma, fell within the powerplay, and despite a late push from captain Pat Cummins, SRH couldn’t post a competitive total.

In response, Gujarat Titans’ openers, Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan, got off to a solid start, with Washington Sundar joining the fray to take control of the game. Cummins and Mohammed Shami tried to stem the flow, but Sundar’s counter-attacking skills proved too much for SRH. Gill and Sundar’s partnership ultimately guided the Titans to victory.
