Singer Neha Kakkar is making headlines for all the wrong reasons after several videos went viral on social media, showing angry fans lashing out at her for arriving 3 hours late to her concert in Melbourne. Despite the delay, she later broke down on stage, expressing gratitude to the audience for patiently waiting. Several fans accused her of crying for attention, calling it “drama” and “acting.” Neha reportedly performed for just one hour despite a three-hour delay, leaving fans irked.
Soon as she entered the stage, Neha was heard saying, “Guys, you are really sweet! You have been patient. Itni der se aap log wait kar rahe ho. I hate it, maine life mein kabhi kisi ko wait nahi karwaya hai. Aap itni der se wait kar rahe ho, I’m so sorry! It means a lot to me. I will remember this evening forever. Aaj aap log mere liye itna kimti time nikaal kar aaye ho. I will make sure that I will make you all dance.”

As Neha was apologising, several angry fans were heard yelling in the background. One fan shouted, “Wapas jaao, apne hotel mein aaram karo.” Another remarked, “This is not India, you’re in Australia.” A third fan added, “Very good acting! This is not Indian Idol; you’re not performing with kids.”
Soon after a fan Pratiksha Dani, who attended the concert, posted the video on her Instagram handle and it went viral, it was shared on Reddit, where several netizens criticised Neha for her ‘unprofessional’ behaviour. A user wrote, “3 hr late???? Damn that’s so unprofessionalism. The least she can do is refund.” Another netizen commented, “First she used to do in TV shows, now she’s doing it on concert podiums as well.”
“Khud late aao aur kud hi rone lagi,” read another comment.
