Lucknow, 01 October (Hindustan Reporter). On the orders of Mahant Devya Giri of the ancient Mankameshwar temple of Lucknow, anger has increased among the shopkeepers who set up shops of flowers and prasad around the temple. After the ban on outside offerings in the temple, the sale of offerings by shopkeepers has stopped. Due to this, shopkeepers are facing financial loss.
Geeta Devi, resident of Mankameshwar Mandir Marg, said that making laddus has been done in her house for years. His household runs only by the sale of laddus. After sending the laddus to the market, orders are still not being received. It is also difficult to go and sell your laddu among the people who are already established outside other big temples. In such a situation, how will the stove in their house burn?
Shopkeeper Lal ji told that after the ban on offering Prasad, the devotees coming to the temple have to refuse themselves. Flower garlands are given without Prasad. All the shopkeepers are thinking of increasing the price of garlands after the sale of Prasad stops. If there is a ban on offering Prasad for a long time, then shopkeepers will have to increase the price of garlands and flowers.
It is to be known that Mahant Devya Giri had recently pasted a notice in Mankameshwar temple banning outside offerings. Mahant Devya Giri believes that the environment of the temple will be impure due to adulteration in outside offerings. He has also urged to promote handmade prasad. Despite this, shopkeepers around the temple are facing financial crisis due to the sale of Prasad.
