Jodhpur, 04 September (HS). Under the seventh National Nutrition Month by the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India, Anganwadi workers took out a rally to promote nutrition awareness and health and awakened women.

In Jodhpur, a month-long programme by Anganwadi workers started today, under which a rally was taken out by Pratap Nagar Sector under the leadership of Deputy Director of Women and Child Development Department Akanksha Bairwa, CDPO Sunanda Sain and Supervisor Madhubala Verma. The rally passed through Sector Pratap Nagar, Indira Colony, Pancholia Nadi, Eklavya Bhil Basti, Ambedkar Colony, Jagdamba Colony, Vistar Yojana and concluded at Ambedkar Park. Anganwadi workers awakened the women of the area by taking forward the Prime Minister’s vision of a well-nourished India. Along with this, the message of nutrition was also given by making rangoli at all Anganwadi centres. The seventh National Nutrition Month focuses on the topics of awareness on anemia, growth monitoring, correct supplementary diet, nutrition as well as education, environmental protection, technology for better governance and Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam.
