Anant Ambani appointed Executive Director of Reliance Industries : Reliance Industries Limited has appointed Anant Ambani as the Executive Director of the company. He will take over this responsibility from May 1 and his term will be five years old. He was holding the responsibility of non-executive director in the company since 2023. Now he will play an active role in India’s largest company according to market capitalization. Not only this, the company has also made Anant Ambani a full -time director.
The Reliance Company said in the stock exchange filing that the recommendations on human resources, enrollment and remuneration were accepted at the ‘Reliance Board of Directors’ meeting held on 25 April. Non-Executive Director Anant Ambani has been appointed as ‘full-time Executive Director’.
It is noteworthy that apart from this, Anant Ambani is also handling important responsibilities in other companies of Reliance Group. Anant Ambani became a member of the board of Jio platforms in March 2020. Later, in 2021, he became a board member of Reliance New Energy Limited and Reliance New Solar Energy and in 2022, he became a board member of Reliance Retail Ventures and Reliance Foundation.
Anant Ambani’s brother Akash Ambani and sister Isha Ambani are already a non-executive director in Reliance Industries Limited. Akash Ambani is the president of Reliance Jio Infocomm while Isha Ambani is the Executive Director of Reliance Retail Ventures Limited.
