Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A political storm raised by Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s remark on BR Ambedkar has now reached Madhya Pradesh. Before Rahul Gandhi’s rally in Mhow on January 27, the BJP is trying to woo the people of SC/ST community.

Several central leaders of the BJP are set to visit MP as part of the Samvidhan Gaurav Abhiyan. Shah’s programme will be held in Bhopal, and Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari will be in Indore.

Similarly, BJP’s national president JP Nadda will be in Jabalpur, and its national general secretary Vinod Tawde will take part in an event in Rewa. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will participate in a function in Gwalior. The BJP may also organise events as part of Samvidhan Gaurav Abhiyan in Ujjain and Sagar.

The Congress is going to organise a rally near Ambedkar memorial in Mhow on January 27. The BJP has begun to create an atmosphere that it was the Congress which insulted Ambedkar, so that Rahul Gandhi’s rally in Mhow may not have any impact on the party. The BJP has been working towards this direction under the Samvidhan Gaurav Abhiyan from January 11 to 25. Shah may conclude event in Bhopal.
