Home Minister Amit Shah targeted the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) amidst the ongoing controversy over the Tri-Bhasha formula. He said that DMK is making language dispute weapons to hide corruption. During the discussion on the Ministry of Home Affairs in the Rajya Sabha, Shah said that the NDA will take the issue from village to village and reveal the truth of DMK. He said, “Hindi is not a rival of any Indian language, but a friend of all languages.”
2. Boil in Israel against Netanyahu, thousands of protesters on the streets

Controversy has increased over the attack on Bihari students at Guru Kashi University in Bathinda, Punjab. Bihar Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary, condemning the incident, attacked the AAP government and said that Bihari students should be given security.
According to sources, the attackers attacked with swords, in which two students from Bettiah and Nautan were seriously injured. This incident is said to be three days old. The Bihar government has demanded strict action against the culprits from the Punjab administration.
