India-Pakistan: Amid increasing tension with India, Pakistan is now trying to gain support for Muslim countries. According to the information received, the OIC (Islamic Cooperation Organization), a group of 57 countries, has asked Pakistan to support it. Recently, Pakistan informed the OIC on the current status of South Asia. Meanwhile, the action taken by India has been described as a serious threat to the peace of the country.

Pakistan sought help.

Pakistan raised the issue of South Asia at a meeting of OIC ambassadors held in New York. Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United Nations Aseem Iftikhar Ahmed said, “The decisions taken by India were very inflammatory, politically motivated and irresponsible.” Therefore, I appeal to OIC member countries to consider India’s stand and its results.
