Amethi, 25 October (H.C.). A sudden fire broke out in the bus on Friday at the Naugaji intersection of the town under Jais Kotwali area. This has caused a stir among the people. Passengers have been evacuated.
A private tourist bus from Babhanpur under Nasirabad police station area of Rae Bareli district was going to Rae Bareli City via Jais Kotwali area of Amethi district. As soon as the bus reached the Naugaji intersection of Jais town, suddenly the smoke started to appear from under the bus and caught fire. Due to this, there was an atmosphere of chaos in about 40 passengers sitting inside the bus.
Police reached the information and took out all the passengers in the bus safely and got the fire under control after hard work. There is no loss of any kind.
Kotwali in -charge Inspector Inspector Ravi Kumar Singh said that according to the bus driver, the vehicle has caught fire due to the compressor back. The fire has been extinguished. Traffic has been started by removing the bus.
