Badar Khan Suri is in the US on a student visa. He is married to American citizen Mafiz Saleh. He is a postdorter Fellow at Alvalid bin Talal Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding in Georgetown. It was alleged that Mahmud Khalil had participated in pro -Palestine demonstrations. However, Khalil is now challenging his custody in court. Trump claimed without any evidence that Khalil supports Hamas. However, Khalil’s lawyers say that he has no connection with the group called the US “foreign terrorist organization”.
