Since January 2025, the US has sent 682 Indians back to India. These people were mostly trying to illegally enter America. The Indian Ministry of External Affairs has given this information. Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh told the Lok Sabha on Friday that these people were caught on the US border and after identifying them, they were sent back to India. He says that this will not have any significant impact on the money (such as money) coming from abroad from abroad, as these people were caught before starting work in America.

How many people came back?
From 2009 to 2024, the US deported 15,564 Indians. Of these, 388 people are from January 2025 till now. This means that a total of 682 people have returned so far this year.
