In a series of unfortunate events, an ambulance carrying four injured police officers crashed into a hospital wall in Jodhpur, causing additional injuries. The incident occurred Friday afternoon at Mathura Das Mathur Hospital.

The police officers, including ASP Arvind Vishnoi, ASI Hukam Singh, Constable Anil Chaudhary, and driver Constable Dilip Meghwal, were initially injured in a head-on collision on National Highway-25 near Balotra at approximately 11:15 AM. The police vehicle, a Mahindra TUV, collided with a Creta car driven by Gopi Kishan Meghwal, reader to the CEO of Chauhatan, who was traveling with his wife, daughter, and a female relative, as per reports.

According to Jodhpur Range IG Vikas Kumar, the injured officers were first taken to Baytu Hospital, then referred to Jodhpur. A green corridor was created to expedite their transport, with the ambulance arriving in Jodhpur around 1:40 PM.

Upon arrival at MDM Hospital, the ambulance driver lost control and crashed into the trauma ward wall. Additional SP Bhopal Singh, who was waiting to receive the injured officers, sustained minor injuries in this second accident. The wall railing and glass were damaged in the impact.

A video of the ambulance accident has surfaced on social media.

According to reports, after the initial collision on the highway, the police vehicle veered off the road and overturned in bushes approximately 20 meters away. Constable Anil Chaudhary’s condition remains critical, reported Hindi daily Dainik Bhaskar. The occupants of the Creta car sustained only minor injuries and were discharged after receiving first aid at Baytu Hospital.
