The reason for this is Sun Tilak, which is very important from religious and symbolic point of view. According to mythological belief, Lord Shri Ram was born in Suryavansh and the Sun God is considered to be his king. Therefore, on the day of Ram Navami, the rays of the Sun God fall on the frontier of Lord Rama, which is considered a symbol of faith.
How is Sun Tilak?
This tradition is played through special technology in the Ram temple. At the time of the construction of the temple, special care was taken to reach the front of Ramnavami at 12 noon on the day of Ramnavami to reach the frontal of the statue of Ramlala in the sanctum sanctorum directly from the temple’s summit.
Three mirrors have been used in this system. The first mirror is placed on the peak of the temple, on which when the rays of the sun fall, they are bended at 90 degrees and sent to another mirror through one pipe. Then the rays from a brass pipe reach the third mirror, in which they finally reach the forehead of Ramlala and the sun tilak is completed.
