Icy mountains and snow sheets

Amarnath cave is located in the Himalayan region of Jammu and Kashmir. This cave is surrounded by icy mountains and ice sheets. Even in the summer season, except for a few days, the rest of the time this cave is covered with snow. The special thing is that every year a natural Shivling is made in this cave. In this holy cave, droplets of water keep dripping from above, which makes Baba lingam of the barfa. Actually, due to extreme cold, water droplets freeze and take the shape of Shivling. It is believed that this Shivling grows and shrinks with the light of the moon. There is good news for the devotees going on Amarnath Yatra.
