During the night show of ‘Pushpa 2’, police entered the cinema hall and arrested a man wanted in murder and drug cases. The man avoided the police for 10 months but was finally caught while watching Allu Arjun’s gangster drama.
Gangster caught while watching ‘Pushpa 2’
According to a media report, a Pachpavali police officer said that Meshram was arrested after the police found out that he was interested in Allu Arjun’s gangster drama film.
There are 27 cases registered against Meshram, two of which relate to murder and drug trafficking. He is known for his violent attitude and has attacked the police in the past as well. The administration was constantly after him through cyber surveillance and tracking the movements of his SUV car.
The film gets lost in the climax when the police arrive.
On Thursday, the police who went to arrest the gangster punctured the tires of his car outside the cinema hall so that he could not escape. When the police entered the cinema hall during the climax of ‘Pushpa 2’, Meshram got lost in the film. The police surrounded him and arrested him at high speed, leaving him no chance to defend himself, the officer said. Meshram is currently lodged in Nagpur Central Jail and will soon be sent to Nashik Jail.
Talking about ‘Pushpa 2’, Allu Arjun’s film was released in theaters on December 5. Within 20 days of its release in theatres, it has become one of the biggest films of Indian cinema. The Hindi version of the film has become the highest grossing film of Hindi cinema. The makers have also announced its sequel ‘Pushpa 3’.
