Actor Allu Arjun was released from Hyderabad’s Chanchalguda Central Jail early Saturday morning after being granted bail by the Telangana High Court in connection with the Sandhya Theatre stampede case. The actor had been taken into custody on Friday and sent to 14-day judicial remand by a Hyderabad court earlier in the day.
Allu Arjun left the jail in his car, with security forces reportedly stationed outside his residence to manage the crowd of supporters gathered to welcome him. His father-in-law, Kancharla Chandrasekhar Reddy, arrived at the jail to accompany him home.
Why Did Allu Arjun Spend Night In Jail?
The high court granted Arjun interim bail on a personal bond of Rs 50,000 late on Friday, providing temporary relief for the actor. Despite the bail order, procedural delays resulted in Arjun spending the night at Chikkadpally Jail before his release early the next morning.
