Telugu superstar Allu Arjun was arrested in connection with a woman’s death during the premiere of his latest movie Pushpa 2: The Rule at Sandhya Theatre. At the Telangana High Court, after his arrest, Allu Arjun’s lawyer stated that the actor’s custody was only for sensationalism, emphasising that Allu Arjun has been cooperating fully in the investigation.
According to India Today, Allu Arjun’s lawyer said, “The remand report doesn’t say anything about the intention or knowledge of a possible death. This (arrest) is a travesty of my liberty. The lordship may grant interim bail.”
