Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil, is just a few days away from its release. It is directed by ace director Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers in association with Sukumar Writings. As the opening of advance bookings for the film has opened today, Pushpa 2 will screen special shows in Telangana with a ticket price hike.
In an X (formerly Twitter) post by Suresh PRO, the government of Telangana has approved a ticket price hike. As per the official order, a benefit show of Pushpa 2: The Rule will screen at 9:30 PM onwards on December 4th in all theatres across Telangana with the hike of Rs 800 in the ticket price for this show only.
The order further reads that to screen 2 additional shows (6th and 7) at 01:00 AM and at 04:00 AM on December 5 in all theatres across Telangana. The ticket price hike for single screens will be Rs 150 from December 5th to December 8th, Rs 105 from December 9th to December 16th, and Rs 20 from December 17th to December 23rd.
“To allow a hike in rates for Multiplexes /Imax as follows:- Rs.200/- from 05/12/2024 to 08/12/2024; Rs.150/- from 09/12/2024 to 16/12/2024; and Rs.50/- from 17/12/2024 to 23/12/2024 across Telangana,” read the order.
Pushpa 2: The Rule will see Allu Arjun, Rashmika, and Fahadh reprise their roles as Pushpa Raj, Srivalli, and Bhanwar Singh Shekawat, respectively.
The film is slated to release on December 5, 2024. It is the sequel to the 2021 film Pushpa: The Rise.
