The matter is that the land of Nirmal Kumar in Sant Ghat of Bairia area, which is above 20 katha, was sold in the name of Vakil Mian and other persons for Rs 2.5 crore in 2017. On the other hand, there is a dispute going on with someone else over the same land. When this dispute ends in the last year of 2024, the same land is given an agreement by Nirmal Kumar to two other persons. Now the matter is that the land on which around Rs. 2.5 crores was given by Shakeel Mian and others. After waiting so many years for the same land, when the dispute over the land ended, why was the other person made Mahada…?
Regarding this, many people reached Nirmal Kumar’s shop, after which the owner of Shankar Vastralaya reached the Town Police Station with an application demanding extortion, after which Town Police Station President Manoj Singh conducted an investigation at his level and found out that it was a case related to a land dispute, after which He asked the concerned police station Bairiya to take the application because the land is in Sant Ghat of Bairiya police station area, a Panchayat was organized at the house of Nirmal Kumar in which Ravi alias Pinnu was also called as the Panch. The CCTV footage recording of the same has gone viral. The thing to note is that Ravi alias Pinnu did not go to that Panchayati on his own, he was called. How was a land divided between two people when one person paid Rs 2.5 crore and waited for years for this land and after the land dispute is over, the owner of this land gives an agreement to the other. Why is no action being taken against land owners who are promoting land disputes?
And this is the reason due to which land disputes seem to be continuously increasing in the district and this dispute turns into fighting and later murder. In most of such cases, murder is taking place over land dispute.
One such case is of Nath Baba Chowk of Bairiya police station area, where four crore rupees were paid in lieu of land agreement and waited for 12 years and when the dispute over that land with the Patidars ended, the owner handed it over to the other party a few months ago. The agreement has been made. Now the question arises that how active are the land mafias in this district, despite there already being an agreement on a land, they are getting the agreement done again on the same land by giving so much inducement.
If seen, it means that whoever has the stick will be his buffalo. On the same lines, the land mafia is luring the land owner to register the same land twice, which is promoting land disputes in the district. Is the same land, which is already under agreement or Mahada in the name of another person, being converted into Mahada by the same person? Is the registry office unable to stop such fraud? If such land mafias are not identified and action is taken in time, then the dominance of land mafias in the district will become so much that murders and assaults will continue to happen every day.
