Delhi Elections 2025: Congress, BJP and Aam Aadmi Party have prepared their strategy for Delhi Assembly elections. Aam Aadmi Party has announced candidates for all 70 seats. On the other hand, Congress has also tried its best to gain power in Delhi. In which Kalkaji seat is much discussed because Chief Minister Atishi is contesting elections from there. On the other hand, Congress has not yet officially announced the candidate from here but Alka Lamba’s name has been approved. Let us tell you that Congress has so far announced its candidates on 47 seats.

According to the information received, Alka Lamba is ready to contest the elections after convincing the Congress leadership. Last week, the Congress Central Election Committee had approved the candidature of Mahila Congress national president Alka Lamba from Kalkaji seat, but she was not ready to contest the elections. For this reason, Kalkaji seat was not mentioned in the second list of Congress.

According to information received from sources, Rahul Gandhi and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge themselves convinced Alka Lamba to accept the party’s decision and contest the elections, after which she is ready to contest the elections. Congress can announce candidates for the remaining 23 seats of Delhi including Kalkaji seat on January 3.

Alka Lamba has been an MLA of Aam Aadmi Party.

Alka Lamba has been the Aam Aadmi Party MLA from Chandni Chowk seat. Last time he had contested the elections from Chandni Chowk assembly seat on Congress ticket and this time too he was claiming from the same seat. But Congress has decided to field Alka Lamba against Atishi by giving ticket to Mudit Aggarwal from Chandni Chowk.

Sandeep Dixit will contest against Arvind Kejriwal

Congress wants to challenge the Aam Aadmi Party by fielding its biggest female face against a woman CM in Delhi. Under this strategy, Sandeep Dixit has been fielded against Arvind Kejriwal from New Delhi seat.
