In the ongoing Champions Trophy match between Australia and England, Aussie wicket keeper Alex Carey pulled off a stunning one-handed catch to dismiss England’s Phil Salt.

The catch came in the second over on the fifth ball when Ben Dwarshius bowled a fuller delivery, and Carey leaped high to grab it with one hand, showcasing his athleticism.

Australian players are known for their incredible fielding skills, often setting high standards with their tough catches in ICC tournaments.

However, Australia entered this tournament with a weakened squad due to injuries and personal reasons. Key players like Pat Cummins, Mitch Starc, Josh Hazlewood, and Mitch Marsh were ruled out, leaving Steve Smith to lead the team.

On the other hand, England, who have never won a Champions Trophy, are aiming for their first title and will look to take advantage of Australia’s weakened squad.

Australia won the toss and chose to field first. After 10 overs, England stands at 80/2. Joe Root is batting on 20, while Ben Duckett has 22 runs. Phil Salt was dismissed for 10, and Jamie Smith scored 15. Ben Dwarshius has taken both wickets for Australia so far.
