Actors Akshay Kumar and R Madhavan were spotted jetting out of Mumbai on Monday morning from the private airport to promote their upcoming film, Kesari Chapter 2, and while at it, the former grabbed eyeballs as he sought permission to pose for photos from a CISF officer. Netizens lauded Akshay’s gesture and noted how rules are same for everyone.

In a video that has now gone viral, Akshay and Madhavan can be seen showing their documents and stepping inside the airport. However, as the paps continued to call their names and requested them to pose for the cameras, Akshay approached the CISF official stationed at the entry and asked him if photography was allowed.

While the CISF official looked hesitant initially, he agreed when Akshay explained that the duo won’t take long. The Kesari Chapter 2 stars then quickly posed together as well as solo, and made their way inside the airport.

Akshay and Madhavan reportedly flew to Amritsar on Monday to promote Kesari Chapter 2, which is set against the backdrop of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. The incident is termed as one of the darkest chapters in India’s history.

In the film, Akshay will be seen playing the role of the lawyer C Sankaran Nair, who had sued the then-British rule and accused the Crown of genocide. Madhavan will essay the role of advocate Neville McKinley, the lawyer who represented the British empire. The film also stars Ananya Panday in a key role.

Kesari Chapter 2 is set to hit the silver screens on April 18, 2025.
