Mumbai: Action films of South Indian directors have been successful all over India for the last few years, so Akshay Kumar is also keen to work in an action film with South Indian director. He has started efforts to take an action thriller from ‘Captain Miller’ director Arun Mateshwaran.
Arun Mateshwaran was originally going to make a biopic of King Ilya. However, after the film stopped due to financial scarcity, he is working on an action thriller. Akshay Kumar has started talking to him for the lead role in this film.
If everything goes well, the shooting of this film will start in June or July next year. Akshay is currently busy shooting for Priyadarshan’s comedy film ‘Bhootbangla’. After this, he will start shooting for ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ and then start work on this film.
