Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav has announced the launch of ‘Stree Honor-Samriddhi Yojana’ in 2027. He has described the scheme as a major step for empowerment of women and girls.

Akhilesh Yadav shared information about the scheme through a post on social media platform X (Twitter). He said that under this every girl, woman and woman will be empowered.

Apart from this, Akhilesh Yadav also announced to provide mobiles to women and girls and provide laptops to talented students, so that they can move forward in their education and career.

Akhilesh Yadav also posted a video sharing the information of ‘Stree Samman-Samriddhi Yojana’. It was told that under the scheme:

Financial assistance will be sent directly to women’s bank accounts.
Free mobiles will be given to women and women.
Laptops will be provided to meritorious girl students, so that they can move forward in their studies and career.

Akhilesh Yadav said that big steps will be taken to make women financially self -sufficient if the socialist government is formed.

Financial assistance schemes for women in other states

In many states of India, governments are running various schemes to make women self -reliant and promote their economic empowerment. Through these schemes, women are given direct economic benefits, so that they can improve their standard of living.

1. Madhya Pradesh: Ladli Bahna Yojana

  • Start: 2023
  • Benefits: Financial assistance of ₹ 1200 to women every month.

2. Maharashtra: Majhi Ladki Bahin Scheme

  • Benefits: Financial assistance of ₹ 1500 to women every month.

3. Chhattisgarh: Mahtari Vandan Yojana

  • Benefits: Financial assistance of ₹ 1000 every month.

4. Jharkhand: Mayian Samman Yojana

  • Benefits: Women are provided financial assistance of up to ₹ 3000.

‘Mahila Samriddhi Yojana’ in Delhi

The new BJP government in Delhi announced the launch of ‘Mahila Samriddhi Yojana’. Under this scheme, ₹ 2500 will be given to women every month.

Its registration will start from 8 March.

Chief Minister Kanya Sumangala scheme in Uttar Pradesh

The Uttar Pradesh government is running ‘Chief Minister Kanya Sumangala Yojana’, which provides financial assistance from birth to their education.

The purpose of this scheme is to make girls’ education and future safe.
