News India Live, Digital Desk: Kushinagar/Lucknow: After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, there is anger across the country and security forces are continuously running operations. Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party (SP) national president Akhilesh Yadav has reacted to the incident and has given the need to take more concrete steps to deal with terrorism.
Akhilesh Yadav was in Nebua Naurangia area of Kushinagar on Wednesday, where he reached his residence to pay tribute to Dr. Purnamasi, the late state president of the SP’s Scheduled Castes and Tribes Front. It was here that he spoke on the Pahalgam attack in a conversation with the media.
‘Country stands with martyrs, support for government decisions’
Akhilesh Yadav strongly condemned the attack, saying, “The whole country is standing with those who have been martyred. The mother of Gujarat, the son of Gujarat, the daughter of Haryana… no one can reduce the grief and suffering they have lost. We condemn such an incident.” He also clarified that whatever decisions the government will take against terrorism, all the parties stand with it, as it was also decided in the all -party meeting. He said, “The SP also wants the government to take concrete steps. The decisions by which the government has responded to Pakistan, the country stands with it.”
‘Not weather, government weather mess’ – aircraft on permission
When asked why his private aircraft did not get permission to land at Kushinagar Airport, he said, “The weather was fine, but it seems that the government’s weather is getting messed up.”
What did Akhilesh say on going to Shaheed Shubham’s house?
Kanpur jawan Shubham Dwivedi has also been martyred in the Pahalgam attack. When Akhilesh Yadav was asked when he would go to Shubham’s house, he directly associated it with the demand made by the government. He said, “People of the country and Kashmir are standing together. BJP should not do politics on it.” He alleged that BJP people use the wrong language and their intention is poor.

Tighten on distributing ‘Shampu-Sabun’
Akhilesh Yadav taunted Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath referring to the previous Kushinagar visit, when shampoos and soaps were allegedly distributed to the people of the Mushar community before the CM’s arrival. Akhilesh said, “A leader (without naming CM Yogi), shampoo was distributed among people before his arrival. I did not share shampoo, everyone is sitting here, no one was given shampoo.” He again said that BJP should not do politics on serious issues of the country.
He reiterated who is going to whose house, it should not be selective. “We (I) did not go, it is not a matter of politics. We did not go, but our people (party) went.”
