Mumbai: As Easter is just around the corner, Akasa Air’s onboard meal service Café Akasa has launched its first-ever Easter Special Meal. This will mark a new addition to its monthly festive meal series.
The meal features the global flavours of Turkey Ham Hawaiian Sliders served along with cheese and spinach cutlets, an easter egg cheesecake and a beverage of choice. Designed to celebrate the flavors of Easter, this festive offering combines traditional ingredients with a modern twist, offering a unique addition to the airline’s growing repertoire of gourmet meals and delivering a unique dining experience onboard.
The offering is available throughout April 2025, across the Akasa Air network and can be prebooked on the airline’s website or mobile app. “Passengers who are traveling to spend the holiday with loved ones or simply want to immerse themselves in the spirit of Easter, this festive meal is designed to bring the warmth and spirit of the season onboard, incorporating traditional flavors that reflect the essence of the holiday,” said a spokesperson on behalf of Akasa Air.
Since launching operations in August 2022, Akasa Air has been committed to offering specially curated meal options that reflect regional specialties associated with various celebrations. From Makar Sankranti to Valentine’s Day, Holi, Eid, Mother’s Day, International Yoga Day, Monsoon season, Navroz, Onam, Ganesh Chaturthi, Dussehra, Diwali, and Christmas, Café Akasa continues to enhance the flying experience with festive meals.
The airline also offers a pre-selection of cakes on its regular menu for flyers who want to celebrate the birthdays of their loved ones in the skies. Café Akasa’s frequently refreshed menu is thoughtfully curated to include a variety of gourmet meals, snacks, and refreshing beverages to ensure there is something to cater to a wide range of dietary and culinary preferences.
The menu offers more than 45 meal options, including fusion meals, appetizers with a regional twist, and decadent desserts, all exclusively curated by reputed chefs from across India.
