Flight number 1382 was to depart from George Bush Intercontinental Airport to Lagardia Airport at 8:30 am local time, when the crew received a hint of engine malfunction and the flight was stopped on the runway. The Federal Aviation Authority said the flight had to be canceled due to the engine problem. The passengers were taken off the runway and the bus was taken to the terminal.
