CEO of CEO of Air Connectivity Increased Star Air
Star Air Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Captain Simran Singh Tiwana said, “Our expansion from Kolhapur is a strategic initiative with more regional centers. With our growing fleet, Star Air is fully equipped to meet the lack of connectivity in Central India. We are committed to providing more convenient and comfortable travel to our travelers through these new services.
Effect of India-Pakistan stress
On the other hand, the ongoing tension between India and Pakistan is affecting air services in North India. Officials at the Delhi Airport said that flight operations were normally running, but some flights may be affected due to the changing airspace landscape. Additionally, the security check process may take longer due to an increase in safety measures. Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) shared its information on social media platform X.
Star Air’s commitment
This network expansion by Star Air is an important step towards strengthening the regional aviation sector of India. The introduction of the new route from Kolhapur will not only increase regional connectivity, but will also promote the local economy. The airline is focused on making air travel accessible in underprivileged areas, reducing the distance between small cities and metros.
