What’s Next?
Successful candidates will be issued the Certificate of Practice (CoP) by the Bar Council of India (BCI), which will empower them to practice law in India. Enrollment with the appropriate State Bar Council is the last step for candidates. Once they have obtained the CoP, they can officially begin practising law in courts throughout India.
Candidates who secure the prescribed qualifying marks will be issued the “Certificate of Practice,” which will entitle them to practice law in India. To clear the AIBE 19 exam, the candidates must obtain a minimum of 45 per cent for the General category and 40 per cent for SC/ST and other reserved categories.
The AIBE XIX test was administered on December 22, 2024 and the All India Bar Examination answer key of AIBE 19 was issued on March 6, 2025. As many as 28 questions were withdrawn, and 7 questions were deleted from each of the sets—SET A, SET B, SET C, and SET D.
