Some images that you generate using AI look very unreal. Noting this, an X user asked artificial intelligence to create “super realistic” pictures of a girl and the internet was stunned by the result. It was quite difficult to identify that the girl was not a human, but a mere AI art.
The X user revealed that not only did they create the image for fun, but went a step further to make a dating app profile with the AI-generated girl pictures. Did that work? Well, yes, Bengaluru’s Bumble scene was shaken up by an unexpected entry of an AI-generated profile picture of a girl which racked up nearly 3,000 likes in just two hours.
Take a look at X posts below
It all started when X user @infinozz decided to try out AI because he was bored. “I got bored and decided to play with ChatGPT’s new 4o image generation tool. Made some super realistic AI-generated pics of a girl”, he wrote.
Once the image was created, a quirky idea came to his mind: “Why not make a Bumble profile in Bangalore with it?”. And, he captured that.
The AI-generated image was mentioned as a 26-year-old girl named A on Bumble. She had a soft, glowing complexion with expressive dark eyes and straight black hair. Dressed in a simple white strap top, she shared a beachy vibe that clearly captivated viewers.
Did she melt your heart too? Remember, she is not real but AI.
2 hours, 2750+ likes
The Bumble profile received traction, and men started hitting on her. “Within 2 hours, I got 2750+ likes, hundreds of superswipes… my phone literally had a seizure. Tun tun tun tun every second”, the X user shared.
He eventually shut down the account 12 hours later, annoyed by the sheer volume of messages.
“Guys offered me ice-creams, concert tickets, and what not. Men loneliness epidemic? Nah, it’s a full-blown apocalypse,” he wrote, while adding, “Imagine if I actually matched someone and got them to send food, gifts, or pay rent. LMAO. People out here SIMPING for pixels.”
He concluded his post by saying, “AI is powerful & men are lonely”.
Netizens react

Soon, the internet reacted to this incident.
While some laughed it off, others raised concerns about platform security and loneliness in digital dating culture.
“This is why I don’t browse Bumble anymore. I’ve turned on verified-only profiles,” one user commented. Another asked, “Doesn’t Bumble have a face verification process? How did you bypass that?”
