Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Another transfer list of IPS officers – after the one released recently – is likely to be issued after Eid. The list may consist of the names of officers with more integrity. According to reports, upright and result-oriented officers have been given important assignments. T
he officers are being transferred to important places for the first time after Kailash Makwana has become the Director General of Police (DGP). Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, too, has given a free hand to Makwana. In this situation, there are possibilities that the DGP may change officers in the field on his own.
Among the field officers, Bhopal police commissioner Harinarayan Chari Mishra, IG of Jabalpur Anil Singh Kushwaha and several others may be transferred. After the appointment of Rakesh Gupta as director of sports in the CM’s Secretariat, barely any officers were posted, so an officer may be posted there.
A retired IPS officer Rajesh Hingankar has been posted as OSD in the CM’s Secretariat. Superintendents of police in more than half a dozen districts may be changed in the coming days. In these districts, the law and order situation is hardly under control.
Thus, the SPs of these districts may be changed. According to sources, Yadav has given the green signal to the DGP to prepare a proposal for transferring field officers. The upcoming transfer list may consist of the names of the SPs of those districts from where the reports of corruption are coming
