The government took this step because these channels were spreading inflammatory, false stories against India, its army and security. This information has been given by an officer.
The official said that Pakistani YouTube channels have been blocked due to spreading inflammatory and disgusting messages against India. 26 Indian citizens were killed and several others were injured in a terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Kashmir.
In the CCS meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi after the Pahalgam terror attack, India has decided to suspend the Indus Water Treaty. The Foreign Secretary said that India has decided to postpone the Indus Water Treaty at the moment. This step has been taken in view of the increasing tension in India-Pakistan relations. The government has also decided to cancel all visa exemptions issued to Pakistani citizens under SAARC. Apart from this, the process of closing the Pakistani embassy in India is being started.
