After the fire incident in Sector 19 of Mahakumbh Mela area, the fair administration has formed an investigation committee. The committee has been instructed to submit the report within two days. Sector Magistrate Shivendra Verma has been asked to prepare complete information about the incident, in which the quality of the cylinder and the reasons for the blast in it will be investigated. Based on the investigation report, action will be taken against those found guilty. Mahakumbh Nagar District Magistrate Vijay Kiran Anand has also taken note of the incident and has directed the Sector Magistrate to investigate. Prima facie it is estimated that the cause of the fire could be the explosion of the cylinder.
Apart from this, the District Magistrate said that instructions have been given to prepare camps in the next two to three days so that the affected people can be given a place to stay there.
Other Kalpavasis came forward to help the people who were left without a roof due to the burning of the huts. Due to the fire that broke out on the banks of Ganga on Sunday, railway officials exercised caution and stopped Vibhuti Express for 20 minutes. Due to the flames rising under the railway bridge over the Ganga, the Railways decided to stop the train keeping in mind the fire situation. Although the distance between the fire and the bridge was very high, keeping safety in mind the Railways stopped the train until the fire was brought under control. The train was re-routed at 4:48 pm, and Railway spokesperson Ashok Kumar confirmed that the train was routed safely and there was no damage to the railway track.
