MP: After Police Station, MLA Preetam Lodhi To Appoint Representatives In Every Department |
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): BJP legislator from Pichhore Preetam Lodhi’s decision to appoint his representatives at police stations has come under criticism. Lodhi has appointed his representatives at three police stations. And it has happened for the first time that an MLA has kept his representatives in police stations.
The Congress has hit out at the MLA’s decision to act in such a way. Instead of being scared by the criticism, Lodhi openly supported his decision, saying he would keep his representative in every department. Lodhi said he wanted to see every resident of Pichhore as MLA and had already appointed his representatives in some departments. He further said that he would do so for the rest of the departments.
According to Lodhi, he wants to make every resident of Pichhore representative of some departments. Lodhi further said he had never sat on the MLA’s chair, and asked the citizens to sit on his chair and take decisions. Leader of Opposition Umang Singhat criticised Lodhi’s decision, saying the legislators should be given tips about what they should not do.
If such system goes on, the legislators will appoint their representatives in every nook and corner, Singhar said. (box) Vidhan Sabha laws do not permit appointment of such representatives According to Vidhan Sabha laws, there is not such rule that allows appointment of MLA’s representative. Despite this, the legislators appoint their representatives in various departments. But the MLA has spoken about appointing representatives in every department.
