Attack in Pakistan: Pakistan’s relations with India have completely deteriorated after the Pahalgam attack. In such a situation, three people, including Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) leader Abdullah, were killed and five others were injured when a private vehicle was hit by a landmark tunnel on Thursday in Kalat district of Balochistan province of Pakistan.

This information was given by Provincial Government spokesperson Shahid Rind. Spokesperson Rind said, “The incident occurred in the Bur Kaputo area, where the vehicle collided with a landmine.” Levi force reached the spot and relief and rescue operations were carried out. The dead include JUI leader and ward councilor Abdullah.

 

 

Increase in terrorist attacks in Balochistan and Khyber provinces

Terrorist attacks have increased in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces in recent months. Earlier on April 15, three policemen were killed and more than 16 were injured in the explosion targeted by Balochistan Constable vehicle in Mastung district.

According to a report by Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security Studies, the number of terrorist attacks in March 2025 exceeded 100, which is the highest since November 2014. Pakistan ranks second in the Global Terrorism Index 2025.
