Jaipur, 19 November (HS). With the falling temperature in Rajasthan, winter has started intensifying. After hill station Mount Abu, the temperature in Sikar and Churu also fell below 10 degrees on Tuesday. There was light fog in the morning in Sriganganagar, Hanumangarh, Churu, Jhunjhunu, Sikar. Earlier, it was cool in Rajasthan even during the day. The maximum day temperature in most cities remained below 30 degrees Celsius.

The effect of snowfall in the mountains is now visible in the plains. Cold winds blew in the cities, due to which the effect of cold was visible even during the day. Till now the effect of cold was visible only in the morning and evening. There was a hot effect during the day, but on Monday, due to cloudy sky and cold wind, the effect of cold was visible during the day also. The direction of the wind seemed to have changed. My body felt shivering due to the cold wind. Its effect was more while moving on vehicles. People were seen wearing woolen clothes. Due to moisture in the atmosphere the temperature also dropped. The speed of fans in homes and offices also slowed down. Meteorological Center Jaipur has predicted the temperature in Rajasthan to fall further in the next two-three days. The lowest temperature on Monday night was in Sikar, Mount Abu. Sikar recorded a minimum temperature of 7.6 degrees Celsius, while Mount recorded 7.2 degrees Celsius. Churu also recorded a single digit minimum temperature of 9.6 degrees Celsius for the first time in the season. The minimum temperature in Ajmer, Kota, Udaipur, Sikar now went below average.

Last night in Jaipur and Kota was the coldest night of this season in the district. The minimum temperature recorded in both these cities was 13.8 degrees Celsius. Light cold winds also blew in Jaipur at night and early morning. Meteorologists said that after the recent snowfall in North India, northern winds have started coming in the plain states, due to which the temperature is falling. The maximum temperature in Alwar, Sikar, Sirohi did not go above 25 degrees Celsius. The maximum day temperature in Rajasthan is being recorded below average. Yesterday the highest temperature was 31.9 degrees Celsius in Barmer. Apart from Barmer, the maximum temperature in Jalore, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur and Phalodi was 30 degrees Celsius. In all the remaining cities the maximum temperature was measured below 30 degrees Celsius yesterday.
