Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav visited Mathura’s Gokul on Thursday, and offered prayers at the Brahmand Ghat and the Yamuna River. During his visit, he paid his respects at the ashram of Sant Guru Sharnanand.
Speaking to reporters, CM Yadav emphasized the inclusion of Sanatan culture in Madhya Pradesh’s education policy. “Mathura, the birthplace of Lord Krishna, holds a unique identity. In Madhya Pradesh, our education policy integrates various aspects of Sanatan culture, including the teachings of Lord Rama and Lord Krishna,” he said.
Yadav also noted that his visit to Mathura was to seek blessings from Guruji and to spiritually prepare for the upcoming Kumbh.
According to information, the Chief Minister’s visit to Mathura follows his attendance at the Bhojpal Mahotsav Mela in Bhopal last month, held in honor of Raja Bhoj. Reflecting on the event, Yadav remarked, “This fair pays tribute to Raja Bhoj. After Lord Ram, Krishna now calls us.”
He expressed joy over the developments in Ayodhya and Mathura, adding, “Lord Ram smiles in Ayodhya, and now Yamuna’s Krishna Kanhaiya calls us.” Yadav reaffirmed his government’s commitment to preserving and promoting Sanatan culture, stating, “We harbor no ill intentions toward anyone, but we will never compromise on the principles of the Sanatan order.”
